Pallas is a sculptural glass vase designed by Tapio Wirkkala in 1969. Tapio Wirkkala was inspired by the melting ice of the far north in Lapland and designed various nature-inspired sculptural glass objects in the 1960s and 1970s. The Pallas vase is a stunning decorative element, both with and without flowers. It tells the story of Iittala’s strong craftsmanship and design heritage while being a modern design object. Each vase is signed with the designer's initials and the year of manufacture.
